The Alliance Bulldogs Girls and Boys basketball teams got a pair of big non-conference wins on Tuesday night, with the girls using a fast start and stifling defense to beat the 9-4 Gordon Rushville Mustangs 46-35.
Seven players scored for Alliance, as the Bulldogs forced over 20 steals in the win to improve to 5-7.
On the boy's side, Alliance cruised to a 73-18 win, after leading 23-3 after one quarter and 53-9 at halftime. Three Bulldogs scored in double-figures in Tristen Timbers, Espen Lanik and Seth Meyring. Six players scored off the bench for Alliance in Jackson Norris, Bert Trevino, Lexton Salcido, Jonah Amill and Trevor Zurn.
Alliance now faces a 13-1 Ogallala team on Friday, both games will be on KCOW.
