Chadron State is adding a regional high school basketball star to its women's basketball program.
Cody-Kilgore High School senior Elle Ravenscroft announced her Letter of Intent signing with the Eagles Monday through her Twitter account.
Ravenscroft poured in 20 points per game on 48% shooting her junior season. Her biggest scoring night was a 32-point outburst in a win over Bennett County, and she opened last season with a a pair of 28-point nights in her first three games against the Hay Springs Hawks and Arthur County.
She'll also help CSC on the glass and defensively. Ravenscroft grabbed 9.1 rebounds per game last year to go along with 2.2 steals per game.
Ravenscroft begins her senior year with the Cowgirls opening their season December 4 against Hay Springs.
