Clarke signs with Washburn University

Alliance High School Senior Caeson Clarke is the latest to sign to continue his athletic career at the College level.  Caeson signed a Letter of Intent to attend Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas.  He plans to play both basketball and baseball. 

Caeson has been a multi-sport athlete during his high school career, competing in football, basketball and golf at AHS and playing summer baseball for the Alliance First National Spartans.   This past football season Caeson passed for 1113 yards and 6 touchdowns.  In his senior basketball season he averaged 20 points and 12 rebounds per game and was All-Western Conference in both sports.  In baseball he lead the Spartans in runs batted in and hit over .300. This golf season, he finished 9th in the District tournament on the Bulldog State qualifing team.  

Washburn University is an NCAA Division II school and a member of the Mid-America Intercollegite Athletic Association.  Washburn finished this past season with a 20-7 record in men's basketball.

Caeson is the son of Manda and Jess Clarke of Alliance.
