CASPER, Wyo. (AP) — City officials in Wyoming have announced that a mask mandate is expected to go into effect this week in Albany County to limit the spread of the coronavirus.
The Casper Star-Tribune reported that the city of Laramie said Wednesday in a Facebook post that the countywide face mask ordinance is scheduled to go into effect Friday at 5 p.m. through Nov. 30.
It is unclear if the order will be extended at the end of the month.
Residents of Albany County, which includes Laramie, must now wear facial coverings when outside of their homes.
Some exemptions include minors and people with medical or mental health objections.
