NASHVILLE —Country artist Morgan Wallen, 30, was booked into jail early Monday on requested charges that include 3 felony counts of reckless endangerment and 1 count of misdemeanor disorderly conduct, according to a social media report from Metro Nashville Police.

According to police Wallen was arrested for throwing a chair from the rooftop of Chief's Bar on Sunday night. The chair landed on Broadway Street, near two Metro Nashville Police officers. His bond was $15,250, according to police.

In May of 2020, Wallen apologized following his arrest on public intoxication and disorderly conduct charges. That arrest occurred  after he was kicked out of Kid Rock’s bar in downtown Nashville, according to the Associated Press.

After the May 2020 arrest, Wallen said on social media that he and some friends were “horse-playing” after a few bar stops.

Wallen’s hits include “Whiskey Glasses” and “Chasin’ You.” He competed on “The Voice” in 2014 and co-wrote songs for Jason Aldean and Kane Brown.
