We got our first look at the Alliance Peltz Company Spartans Baseball teams on Sunday. The Spartans held a team meet and greet along with an open scrimmage at Bower/Shankland Field.
The Teams showed off their new uniforms, with the name of the new corporate sponsor...Peltz Companies of Alliance. The Spartans will field three teams this summer, a Junior and Senior American Legion Team and a Prep team. Each team will play their own schedule vs area and regional teams. The Junior and Prep Teams will host a seasoning opening tournament May 19-21 at Bower Shankland Field and the Senior Team will host the Annual Clair Conley Memorial Tournament June 21-25. Alliance will also host the Nebraska Class B Junior State Tournament July 15-19.
The Coaches for this years teams are Carlos Palomo, Senior Head Coach. Adrian Gonzalez, Junior Head Coach. JJ Garza, Prep Head Coach. With Assistant Coaches ...Jerry Garza, Derek Morrison, Mason Hiemstra and Peyton Pinedo.
