◼ Alliance Juniors 6, Chadron 4
Both teams scored four times in the third inning and a run-scoring error in the sixth gave enough insurance for Alliance to hold off Chadron 6-4. In an unusual game with 10 combined runs but no extra base hits, seven combined errors helped push the scoring along. Seth Morrison drive in two Alliance runs while Jordan Bissonette led Chadron with two RBIs.
◼ Alliance Seniors 10, Chadron 2
Alliance put together a pair of big run innings to topple rival Chadron 10-2. The Spartans took a 4-1 lead after the first on three run-producing singles including a two-RBI hit from Vic Hinojosa. Alliance broke open a 6-2 game with four more runs in the fifth inning to end it via the run rule. Nick Wright, Hinojosa and Brantz Halouska combined on the hill to limit Chadron to only two hits while striking out six.
◼ Gering Juniors 11, Bridgeport 1
Gering brought home seven runs in the fourth inning to open up a 3-0 game en route to the big victory. Mason Gaudreault went 2/4 with three RBIs and homered. Ryan Johnston and Keagan Shifflet split the game on the mound and struck out six Bridgeport hitters while allowing six hits to get the victory.
◼ Gering Seniors 10, Bridgeport 0
Gering slowly ran the scoreboard up each inning to put away Bridgeport 10-0 via the run rule in five. Gering scored each frame and was able to produce double-digit runs while only generating three hits. The Bridgeport pitching staff walked 13 while Gering starter Jack Franklin struck out 13 for a complete game win.
