The final month or so of the high school basketball season and the Alliance Bulldogs have the opportunity on Friday night to play one of the premier programs in the Panhandle, as they face the Scottsbluff Bearcats.
Alliance girls are coming off arguably their biggest win of the season after beating Chadron on Tuesday on their senior night, to improve to 7-11 overall.
Scottsbluff is 11-8 after finishing runner-up to Sidney in the Western Conference Tournament last Saturday.
On the boy's side, Alliance will look to get a signature road win and end a losing streak as the 5-13 Bulldogs take on the 14-4 Bearcats. Don't let Alliance's record fool you, they have been competitive against some of the best teams in the state. Now they will try to put together against a complete game against the Western Conference Tournament Champions in the Bearcats.
