Gering led 9-0 after two innings, but the Alliance Lady Bulldogs showed grit in crawling their way back into the game by scoring five unanswered runs to trim Gering's lead to 9-5. However, Gering scored 4 runs in the 6th to pull away.
Highlights for Alliance included a Hallie Schneider 3-run homerun to center field for Alliance, her first home run of the season. Alivia Osborn and Cali Acosta each joined Schneider with 3 hits in the game.
Alliance had 9 hits to Gering's 18 with both teams committing 2 errors. Alliance Falls to 4-5 on the season and next faces Hershey on the road on Thursday.
