Alliance boys and girls and basketball both were hoping to get big home wins on Tuesday night, and the Bulldogs did just that.
First in the girl's game, Alliance used their zone defense to shut down Torrington's offense to help get the Bulldogs get the 37-23 victory. The 23 points allowed by Alliance was the fewest since a 48-9 win over Arvada (CO) in the 2nd game of the season in 2022.
Macey Seebohm hit three 3-pointers in the win and finished with 14 points, while Jaelynne Clarke also had 14 points.
With an even record at 2-2 Alliance hosts Mitchell on Friday.
On the boy's side Alliance played a complete game both offensively and on defense, as they won big over the Trailblazers 67-47.
Espen Lanik had arguably the best game of his young career, as the Sophomore scored 20 points and multiple 3-point baskets in the win. Tristen Timbers, Landen Crowe and Seth Meyring also carried a lot of the scoring punch with the trio all around 10 points each.
Alliance who is 1-3 overall, will try to build off of the victory as they host Mitchell on Fri.
