RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) — Police have identified the victim of a fatal shooting in Rapid City as a local man.
Thirty-nine-year-old James Donner was found with multiple gunshot wounds to the abdomen early Monday.
Someone called 911 after seeing the man lying in the street bleeding.
Donner was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police are working with the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office to identify a suspect.
Anyone with surveillance cameras in the area is asked to check their footage to see if there is any suspicious activity between 1:45 and 2:30 a.m. Monday.
