The Bulldogs had no trouble scoring at Scottsbluff on Tuesday night, but keeping the Bearcats bats at bay was another story as Scottsbluff defeated Alliance 15-11.
Diane DuBray had a big night for Alliance with a pair of homeruns in the 6th and 7th innings and five RBI's.
Scottsbluff started out strong by taking a 4-0 lead in the 4th inning. Alliance kept on hanging around in the game, aided by a CeCe Hudson homer to get Alliance within a run at 7-6. The Bearcats blew it open with seven runs on seven hits in the 6th to give Scottsbluff a commanding lead at 14-6.
Diane DuBray hit a grand slam in the 7th for Alliance. The Bulldogs had 17 hits in the loss, to Scottsbluff's 22. Alivia Osborn, Cali Acosta and Hannah Schneider each had multiple hits to join DuBray and Hudson. Kennadie Gibson and Kyra also scored runs as well for the Bulldogs.
Hannah Schneider took the loss for Alliance in the circle, as the Bulldogs record falls to 7-8.
