Chadron heads to Alliance for a late-night rivalry softball showdown Tuesday.
It's the first match-up of the two teams in the early high school season, and the varsity game has been bumped back to 8:00 in an effort to play amid cooler temperatures. Forecasts call for the mercury to rise into the 100's across western Nebraska Tuesday.
