NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-A North Platte man was seriously injured after he jumped from a North Platte viaduct.
According to North Platte police, at around 12:29 pm on September 12, officers and North Platte Fire and Rescue responded to the report of someone jumping of the Poplar Street viaduct.
Police say, upon arrival, officers located the victim who was conscious at the time.
Police say after speaking to the victim and witnesses, it was determined that the subject had exited a vehicle and jumped of the viaduct.
The man was transported to Great Plains Health with serious injuries before being transferred to an Omaha hospital.
The man's name was not released.
