Ruby E. Ewing, 91, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Highland Park Care Center in Alliance.
She was born on March 30, 1928 in Alliance to Adolph and Ola (Nye) Krejci.
On June 9, 1949 she was united in marriage to Vern Ewing in Chadron, Nebraska. They were married nearly 59 years.
She is survived by her sons and their wives, Leroy and Peggy Ewing of Rigby, ID and Ron and Melinda Ewing of Alliance. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Jason and Lindsey Ewing and their children, Cody and Tate of Paris, ID, Jessica and Kasey McGugin and their children, Kylie and Kaden of Kaysville, UT and Josh and Taylor Ewing and their children, Brynlee and Addysyn of Henderson, NV.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and her twin brother, Russell Krejci.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church. Ruby was very involved with many bowling leagues in Alliance. In 2003 she was named Member Emeritus of the Alliance Women’s Bowling Association “Hall of Fame.”
Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bates-Gould Chapel with Jeanie Sedivy officiating. Burial will be in the Alliance Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 1-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
