Chadron woman arrested for cocaine

A woman has been arrested for possession of cocaine in Chadron.


On Oct. 8 at 10:11 a.m. the Chadron Police Department had contact with two 18 year-old women. Police detected the odor or marijuana coming from a vehicle.


"A search of the vehicle yielded alcoholic containers, suspected marijuana, suspected drug paraphernalia, and suspected cocaine," said Chadron Police Chief, Tim Lordino. "A subsequent search of a second vehicle yielded more suspected drug paraphernalia, marijuana containers with suspected marijuana residue and suspected cocaine residue."      


On Oct. 11th Shaylee Cook was arrested for possession of cocaine. 


Cook was transported to the Dawes County jail. Bond was set at 10% of $10,000.
