Joshua E Miller, age 38, of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away on Wednesday October 23, 2019. Joshua was born August 17, 1981 to Larry & Angie (Kosmicki) Miller. He graduated from Lincoln Southeast. He is survived by his son, Cayden Miller, his parents, brother Steven Miller. Grandma, Patricia Miller, 7 cousins and extended family and friends. Preceded in death by Great Grandma Henderson, his Grandfather Miller and Grandma Kosmicki.


Visitation: Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68512. Funeral service: Monday, October 28, 2019 at 11:00 AM at First Plymounth Congregational Church, 2000 D Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68502. lincolnfh.com

Daisy Perry McAndrew (1924 - 2019)

Daisy Perry McAndrew, 94, passed away Monday, October 21, 2019 at her home in Alliance.


She was born on October 24, 1924 in Stroke-on-Trent, England to Ernest and Elsie (Chesworth) Perry. 


On February 17, 1945 she was united in marriage to James J. McAndrew in Stroke-on- Trent, England.


She is survived by her children, Gillian McAndrew Salvador of Alliance, James E. (Gracia) McAndrew of Johnstown, IA, Gerald T. (Christy) McAndrew of Douglas, WY, Thomas J. McAndrew of Beaver Crossing, NE and Kevin R. McAndrew of Iwakuni, Japan. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.


Her parents, her husband, her daughter-in-law, Nancy McAndrew, her grandson, John McAndrew and her sisters and brother, Ethel, Elsie, Ernie, and Pauline preceded her in death.


Funeral services will be Monday, October28, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church. Reverend Shirley Belk will officiate. Burial will be in the Alliance Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, October 27 from 1-5 p.m. at the Bates-Gould Funeral Home.


Memorials may be given to the Indian Mission Church of God, the Salvation Army, Beaver Crossing, NE Public Library or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
