Alliance High School Senior Jordan Hopp made it official on Wednesday, signing her Letter of Intent to play volleyball at Iowa State University.

Jordan, a 6'3" middle hitter/blocker has been a 3 year starter and 4 year letter winner for the Bulldog volleyball team. She caught the eye of recruiters during summer camps and after visiting the Iowa State campus and meeting Head Coach Christy Johnson-Lynch, she committed to the Cyclones prior to her junior year at Alliance. During her high school career, the Bulldogs qualified for the District Finals all 4 years and earned a trip to the State Tournament in 2018. This past season Jordan lead AHS with 309 kills and 102 blocks. She is the school record holder for career blocks with 400. She was also named All Western Conference this year.

Jordan says she is excited to play at the Division One level and that being a 3 sport athlete in high school is a plus if you want to pursue athletics in college. Jordan will play the Middle position in college and will continue to work on her skills. She says she will have the opportunity to compete for playing time in the fall, but also may redshirt. Jordan is the daughter of Trista and Steve Hopp of Alliance.
