A local Alliance business recently donated thousands of dollars to the Bulldog Backpark Program.
The Bulldog Backpack Program helps send food home for students who otherwise would not have enough food to eat.
The 7th Street Dance Studio in Alliance is owned and operated by Lori Davis. Davis took over the business about a year and a half ago from former owner Kathy Lybarger.
Davis said that every year she and her staff get together and decide what charity in the community they'd like to support.
"We're really excited about it. It was a lot of fun," said Davis. "The kids have a great time giving back. It empowers my kids...they feel good about themselves being able to do something because most Kindergarteners can't give a lot, but they can dance and they love to do it. Making money on top of it is wonderful."
