A former western Nebraska basketball star is headed back west to finish his college career. Dru Kuxhausen announced on his Twitter feed that he will be transferring to the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley.
Kuxhausen starred at Scottsbluff High School and went on to compete for one season at Chadron State, as well as a season at Western Nebraska Community College before heading south to McNeese State in Louisiana for two seasons. Because of the pandemic he'll have one final year of eligibility left to compete for UNC.
Kuxhausen joins a Bears team that has two of his former college head coaches on staff, including Houston Reed from his time at CSC.
