The Alliance volleyball team continued their string of recent success by finishing third at the Western Conference Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, as the Alliance Bulldogs got big wins over Chadron and Gering after losing the first match to Scottsbluff.
Alliance won their final two matches by scores of 2-0 and 2-0. The win over Gering was their 2nd straight over their rival Bulldogs in less than a week. Prior to that Gering had won four in a row over Alliance this season.
Alliance improves to 14-13 overall, as the Bulldogs host Mitchell and Scottsbluff in a home triangular on Tuesday starting at 5 p.m.
