Alliance High School put the finishing touches on the Athletic and Activities season at the annual A-Club Banquet Monday night. Activities Director Anita James, A-Club sponsor Baily Clear and Officers Shelbee Burke and Riley Lawrence hosted the event which honored Senior Athletes and and students who participated in the various sports and activities.
AHS Head Coaches.....Chris Seebohm-Football, Jessica Kaiser-Volleyball, Berlyn Clear-Girls Golf, Scott Mills- Boys and Girls Tennis, Kelly Erickson-Cross Country , Carlos Palomo-Softball . Nick Myers-Wrestling, Stephen Crile-Girls Basketball, Michael Baker-Boys Basketball, Laura and Joe Mangas-Unified Bowling, Danielle Swanson-Cheerleading and Nate Lanik-Girls and Boys Track & Field each presented their letter winners and special awards. Boys Golf Head Coach Brandt Banzhaf was traveling back from District Golf and was not able to attend.
Box Butte General Hospital CEO, Lori Mazanec recognized the "MVP" nominees for the school year. Each week BBGH honored a student/athlete as an "MVP" for best showing examples of... Teamwork, Dedication, Excellence and Compassion.

Outgoing A-Club Officers...President-Kellen Muhr, Vice President-Shelbee Burke, Sect/Treas-Riley Lawrence and Sgt at Arms-Isaac Weems, announced next years Officers ...President-Tyzen Brown, Vice President-Maribel Carillo, Sect/Treas-Kenna Montes and Sgt at Arms-Taytom Timbers.
AD Anita James also gave special recognition to AHS Coaches, Brandt Banzhaf, Heather Jensen, Angie Hiemstra, Jessica Kaiser and Michael Baker, who have resigned from their positions. Ms James then presented the AHS Girl Athlete of the Year Honor to Amauri Browning and AHS Boy Athlete of the Year Honor to Isaiah Martinez. It was..."A Great Night to be a Bulldog".
