Alliance Unified Bowling Team - District Champs

The Alliance Unified Bowling team will make another trip to the State Tournament after winning the District 8 Championship Monday in Scottsbluff.  Alliance finished first with a team score of 940. North Platte was the runner up at 868. The district also included Scottsbluff (788), McCook (741), Gordon-Rushville (700),  Ogallala (694), South Platte (694) and Bridgeport (443). 

Alliance will be making their 4th trip to State in the last 5 seasons.  The Bulldogs won the State Championship in 2017 and also qualified in 2016 and 2018.  Unified Bowling has been an NSAA sport since 2016 and was started to provide more students an opportunity to participate in sports activities.  The State Tournament will be held Monday, December 7, at Maplewood Lanes in Omaha.
