The Bulldogs volleyball team went on the road and faced one of the top programs in Western Nebraska, and while Alliance started off well, Scottsbluff pulled away in the final three sets in a 3-1 win.
Alliance and Scottsbluff battled it out in a tight 1st set, and the Bulldogs arguably played their best set of the season in a 25-20 win over the highly rated Bearcats.

Alliance was very close to taking a 2-0 set lead, but the Bearcats battled back to take it 25-23 to even it out 1-1.
Scottsbluff took control of the match in the next two sets, winning 25-15 and 25-23.
Alliance's record drops to 5-4 with a home game against 5-2 Chadron coming up on Tuesday. Scottsbluff's record is listed as 3-0 as of this publication.
