LINCOLN, Neb.-Authorities said the body of a man has been recovered from Branched Oak Lake near Lincoln.
According to Lancaster County Sheriff Terry Wagner, late Saturday afternoon Lincoln Police received a report that two men had seen an unmanned boat adrift on the lake.
The men told authorities that they were able to tow the boat to the lake's marina.
Deputies responded and identified the boat as belonging to Kurt Roe, 60, of Weston, Nebraska.
On Sunday, the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office Marine Unit was searching the lake when a boater spotted a body floating.
The body was positively identified as Roe's. An autopsy has been ordered.
