Chadron State grappled with #16 Colorado Mesa on Saturday at the Chicoine Center and while Mesa came away with the overall 28-16 win, individually CSC earned some big victories within the dual. I caught up with two of the victorious Eagles after their bouts for their analysis on their matches.
133-pounder and #2 nationally ranked Quentrevion Campbell took down #9 Collin Metzgar early on Saturday.
Right behind Campbell on the mat was #10 Ethan Leake at 141 pounds. Leake brought the crowd to a huge roar with an impressive pin of Andrew Silva in the first period.
