On Friday night the Hemingford Bobcats knew the task at hand, win and you're most likely in, and the Bobcats did just that as they held a 50-0 halftime lead before cruising to a 66-0 win over Morrill. The victory sets up a road game in the first round of the playoffs on Thursday at 4 PM MT at 7-1 Arapahoe.
"We can't wait to make the most of our opportunity to compete in another game," Hemingford Head Coach Josh Dean said. "We believe we are playing our best football right now, which is exactly what we need to be doing."
It was a complete team win for the Bobcats as y they held Morrill to under 100 yards of offense and forced three interceptions, by Carson Haas, Jacob Bryner, and Anthony Haas.
Offensively seven runners had carries for Hemingford, scoring nine rushing touchdowns, including three for Cody Galles and two each for Zaine Feist and Jacob Bryner.
Bobcats have won three straight games and look to keep the momentum going against Arapahoe who won 78-30 over Sandhills Valley on Fri.
