Alliance, (2-5) vs. Chadron (4-3)
Radio coverage starts on KCOW radio 1400 AM and 92.5 approximately 6:45, kickoff at 7.
It's Senior Night for Alliance at Bulldog Stadium as the Bulldogs hope to get back on track after a 57-16 loss at McCook last week. Senior quarterback Landen Crowe still remains as one of the top passers in the state with 1583 passing yards and 15 touchdowns. He also brings back one of the best receivers in Nebraska in Tristen Timbers who has missed the last game and a half to an accumulation of unsportsmanlike penalties two weeks ago against Mitchell.
Alliance's offense will look to score early and often to keep pace with one of the best running backs in the state in Junior Quinn Bailey, who has 20 rushing touchdowns and 1322 rushing yards.
Hemingford (4-3), Morrill, (0-7)
The Bobcats have had two win the last two games to have a shot at the post-season, and they will have to win a third against winless Morrill on Friday as they are currently one spot out of the postseason ranked 33rd in the wild-card standings. A win could get them in if someone in front of Hemingford falls as the top 32 teams make the playoffs in D-1.
The Bobcats will look to get the ball to their dynamic ball carriers Cody Galles and Jacob Bryner and company as Hemingford has rushed for over 1500 yards as a team with 24 touchdowns. Morrill will look to turn over Hemingford and try to stay in the game, as they fell behind and never recovered in a 90-20 loss to Bridgeport last week.
