Man possibly connected to Colorado homicide may be in Brady

BRADY, Neb.-A man wanted for a parole violation and who may possibly be connected to the death of a 71-year-old man in Colorado may be in Nebraska.

The body of 71-year-old Randall Schubert was found on November 5 in Longmont, Colorado.

Police in Longmont have identified 36-year-old Edward Herbert Hoid as a person of interest in the case.

Longmont police say Hoid had been living in Lyons, Colorado, but they say he may currently be residing in Brady, Nebraska.

Hoid is described as a white male, 6' tall, weighing 180 pounds, and has brown hair and blue eyes.

Police say Hoid should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Anyone who sees Hoid should contact local law enforcement immediately. 

Hoid is currently wanted on a parole violation and has not been charged with any crime in the death of Schubert.
