The Alliance Recreation Center is continuing to raise funds for a new playground.

The new playground will be designed by Crouch Recreation.

"We have raised $3,500 with the help of Rotary Club of Alliance ($1,000) and Black Hills Energy ($2,500)," said Mara Andersen, Alliance Recreation Center Director. "Both are challenging the community to match and exceed their donations. Your contribution makes an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps."

To donate click this link: https://www.facebook.com/donate/2693849450936687/10163915154740072/

How does your donation help:

*Children who live east of Flack Ave will no longer have to cross a highway to access safe playground equipment.

*Students of ARC AfterSchool could have 45 extra minutes of play PER DAY (which doubles what they receive during the school day!)

*Play is essential for physical, social, and emotional development and for developing critical thinking skills.

*Another playground in our community gives more kids more opportunities to play.

The mission of Alliance Recreation Center is to help local citizens put Christian principles into practice through affordable health and fitness programs that build healthy minds, bodies and spirit using professional staff and volunteers.

Thank you so much for caring, everyone! Our community's kids deserve so much and I am so honored to work with and for you on this project!
