HS Football: Crowe has record night for Bulldogs, Alliance falls short to Chadron

Alliance Senior quarterback Landen Crowe threw for a school record 375 yards and three first quarter touchdown passes as Alliance built an early 20-7 lead, but Chadron stormed back and ultimately made a couple more big plays in a 41-26 win for the Cardinals.

Crowe completed 32 0f 65 passes, and added a rushing touchdown for 92 yards on the ground in a historic night for the Senior, as he now has the single season passing record for the Bulldogs with 1,958 with still one game to play.

Quinn Bailey continued his strong junior season for Chadron as he ran 346 yards and four rushing touchdowns, one for 64 yards and another for 93 while also scoring on a monster kickoff return TD to give the Cardinals the 41-26 lead midway through the 4th quarter.

Alliance got huge receiving games from their four starting receivers, as Senior Jonah Amill had a career-high 150 yards and an 87-yard TD, Tristen Timbers had 10 receptions for 100 yards while Seth Meyring caught two touchdowns and Espen Lanik had one as well.

Defensively, Jett Herian continues to rack up the tackles for the Bulldogs with 13 total tackles, 9 solo, 2 passes defended and 1 caused fumble. Lanik also an interception for Alliance in the first half.

With the loss, Alliance drops to 2-6 with the final game of the regular season on the road at 7-1 Sidney on Friday.
