Deadwood Swimming Invitational

In their last meet on the road before their first home meet, seven members of the Chadron Sharks Swim Team (CSST) traveled to Deadwood, SD January 6-7, 2024, as 159 swimmers competed in the 2024 Deadwood Swimming Invitational. The Sharks continued make their mark in the area’s swimming community, swimming against teams from Buffalo (BSC), Converse County (CCW), and Newcastle (NSST), WY; Spearfish (GOLD), Deadwood/Lead (DL76), Fall River (FRST), Rapid City (RST), and Sturgis (SSR), SD; and Scottsbluff (SBSC), NE.

The Sharks will have their first home meet at the Chadron Aquatic Center on January 13-14, 2024, and will be hosting teams from Scottsbluff, NE; Fall River and Sturgis, SD; and Buffalo, WY and expect around 70 swimmers to compete. The public is invited to watch, and there is no fee for spectators. Saturday will begin at 2:15 pm and Sunday will begin at 9:15 am.
