Chadron State will not face Fort Lewis Saturday night for men's hoops, and likely not at all this season.
The Skyhawk men's basketball team will not make the trip to Chadron because the team is still in COVID-19 quarantine per CDC guidelines. That's according to the FLC Athletics Department, which confirmed the game would not be played this weekend Monday.
The Skyhawks last two games were also postponed.
CSC Athletics also confirmed this weekend's postponement.
Chadron State was supposed to open its RMAC season in Durango December 4 against the Skyhawks but the game was postponed due to COVID-19. For now, it looks like the match-up won't be played at all this season unless the schools can find a new date among an already loaded calendar.
The CSC - Fort Lewis women's game is still on as scheduled for 5:30 Saturday night and will be broadcast on Double Q Country, 97.5 FM and streamed on Panhandle Post.
