Man wanted in Neb. woman's disappearance captured in Caribbean

SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities investigating an alleged kidnapping have confirmed the arrest of a suspect.

On Tuesday, authorities in Caye Caulker, an island off the coast of Belize in the Caribbean, arrested 47-year-old Aldrick Scott of Topeka, according to the Douglas County Nebraska sheriff's office.

 Douglas County Nebraska authorities wanted Scott in connection with the disappearance of 43-year-old Cari Allen.

On November 22, Omaha police reported their effort to locate Allen who is still missing.  She is described as a white female, 5-foot-8, 130 pounds, blonde hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen Saturday, Nov. 19 at 11 p.m.

Scott has ties to Topeka and Shawnee County, according to the Shawnee County Sheriff's department who released photos of him.
