In what could be a contender for match of the year in the Panhandle so far in the young season, Chadron overcame a 2-1 deficit in sets to beat their rival Alliance 3-2. (27-25, 26-28, 25-23, 25-22, 15-8.) In the two sets Alliance won, they overcame large deficits of their own to put themselves in a position to win the match.

"We always know going in playing against Chadron that it's going to be a battle, "Alliance Head Coach Manda Clarke said. "We've seen some great stuff and I'm super proud of the girls for their hustle and tenacity, it's just putting everything together and getting our offense going."
