The Bulldogs had a strong start to their home triangular on Tuesday night, as the Alliance beat 2-0 (25-12, 25-18). Senior Anna Cheek led Mitchell with five kills in the match.
In game number two, Alliance faced a stiff test in Panhandle power Scottsbluff, and the Bearcats pulled away in straight sets (25-15-25-15).
Ella Foote had a match high nine kills to lead Scottsbluff. Alliance's record is currently 15-14 with just two games remaining. The Bulldogs travel to Chadron on Thursday Oct. 19 before finishing the regular season against South Dakota power Hill City.
Hemingford

It was senior night for the Bobcats on Tuesday night as they faced one of the top teams in the state in Bayard, as the Tigers won (25-12, 25-6, 25-12)
Hemingford's overall record falls to 8-17 with two games against Minatare and Kimball in away matches on Thursday, Oct. 19th.
