The Alliance Bulldogs knew they had a tough test on Tuesday, hosting 20-0 and C-1 #1 Sidney, and while the Bulldogs battled and causes issues for Sidney in different areas, the Red Raiders pulled away for a 55-29 win.
The matchup featured two of the best defensive teams in Western Nebraska, but it was Sidney who held Alliance to just seven first half points to build a double-digit lead at halftime.
Credit the Bulldogs for a much better 2nd half with 22 points.
Foul trouble was an issue for both teams in the game as Senior Jaelynne Clarke picked up her 4th foul early in the 3rd quarter. Clarke came back to finish strong with seven points in the 4th. Fellow Senior Ciara Hudson had a big rebounding night with 12 rebounds and six points. Macey Seebohm had five while Addi Weber scored five.
