After two innings, Alliance softball trailed 1-0 at Western Conference rival Scottsbluff, but the Bearcats scored seven runs in the 3rd inning to help them pull away 11-3 the final in 5 innings. Alliance did have nine hits in the game, but they also stranded nine batters as well.
The Bulldog's defense has been much improved, but three errors against Scottsbluff were costly.
Hannah Schneider went 3-3 at the plate for Alliance, Kaiya Hudson, Maci Cornish and Schneider each had an RBI in the game.
Alliance dropped to 9-11 on the season with a game against Western Conference Tournament Champions Gering at the Hal Murray Softball Complex.
