CHADRON, Neb. – The Chadron State men's wrestling program has made the decision to postpone their Black & Cardinal Classic intersquad dual, which was originally scheduled for Friday, November 15 at 6 p.m. in the Chicoine Center.
Due to several injuries within the program, the Eagles were going to be unable to provide a full slate of exhibition matches. To not jeopardize the health of other athletes and focus on recovery for official competitions in the near future, the program has decided not to hold the event at the scheduled time.
The Black & Cardinal Classic may be held at a later date this winter. More details will follow if and when it is rescheduled.
Chadron State, the defending RMAC champions, are scheduled to host two official RMAC duals in January, with Colorado Mesa visiting on January 17 and Western Colorado coming on January 24. The Eagles' other five RMAC duals will be away from the Chicoine Center.
The Eagles will take to the mat next at the Kearney Open hosted by UNK on November 23.
