After nine days off from varsity competition, the Alliance Bulldogs volleyball team hits the road today (Thursday) for the final Western Conference match of season against the Chadron Cardinals.

The Bulldogs are 15-14 on the season and had won three in a row before losing their last game to Scottsbluff 2-0 on Oct. 10. Alliance is currently ranked 13th in the Class B RPI as they face 14-20 Chadron.

This is the fourth meeting between the two rival schools this season as Alliance has won two of three meetings: Chadron won 3-2 in the first meeting on Sept. 5 in Alliance, the Bulldogs won the next two meetings 2-0, 2-0.

Alliance will end the regular season with a home match against South Dakota power Hill City on Saturday.  Alliance will begin Sub-District play against Gering and then potentially Scottsbluff.
