Bryner signs with Hastings College Womens Basketball

Alliance High School Student Athlete Catherine Bryner, will continue her athletic career at the next level, after signing a Letter of Intent to attend Hastings College, and be a member of the Womens Basketball Team.

Catherine was a First team All Western Conference selection for Alliance in the 2022-23 season. She averaged 9 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists per game, in helping lead the Bulldogs to a 12-12 record and an appearance in the Class B District Finals.  She played her first 3 years at Hemingford High School,  where she was a Westeren Trails and Panhandle Conference,  All Conference selection.  She transfered to Alliance for her Senior year.  Besides basketball,  she competed in Cross Country, Softball and Track & Field for the Bulldogs and Bobcats.

Hastings College is an NAIA School and a member of the Great Plains Athletic Conference, located in Hastings, Nebraska.  The Broncos, under womens Head Coach Jina Douglas,  were 11-17 this past season.  Catherine says it has been her long time goal to play college basketball and she is looking forward to competing for playing time next season. She plans to Major in Pre Veterinary Studies and either Biology or Biochemistry

Catherine is the daughter of Sally and Dusty Bryner of Hemingford.
