The Alliance Spartans will open the local baseball season this weekend with a new name, a new sponsor, new uniforms and lot's of hope for a great season. The Team will now be known as the Peltz Company, Alliance Spartans and will host a season opening tournament, May 19-20-21 at Bower/Shankland Field.
The field for the tournament includes the Alliance JV and Prep teams, along with Bridgeport, McCook, Casper and the Rapid City Post #320 Risers. Games will begin on Friday, May 19 with the Alliance Prep team vs Bridgeport at 5 pm, followed by the Alliance JV team vs Bridgeport at 7:30 pm.
The teams will be divided into two, 3-team Pools with each team playing 3 games. Following Pool play the seeded games will begin at 1 pm Sunday. Tournament schedule is listed below with game times approximate. Subject to change.

Saturday May 20

All games will be played at Bower/Shankland Field. Concessions will be available.
