The Alliance Bulldogs might be 2-6, but they have shown considerable growth under first year head coach T.D Stein, as they nearly dashed rival Chadron's playoff hopes, but ultimately fell 41-26.

This week is a different challenge as they travel to long-time Western Conference Sidney and one of the best Red Raiders teams in recent memory who are 7-1.

"They're a very talented team, they've got talented players everywhere on the field," Stein said. "I like the position that we are in, people underestimating us so I'm excited for the opportunity to play them."

Win one game left in the season, Alliance star quarterback has already written the record books with most passing yards in a season, career and game last week.

With 1958 passing yards he has a high chance of becoming the first Bulldogs to eclipse 2,000 passing yards in a season. The focus though is winning on the road against one of the most complete teams in Western Nebraska, allowing just 18 points a game.

Alliance's defense will try to contain a balanced offense for Sidney led by Senior quarterback Isak Doty who has 25 touchdowns, 14 on the ground and 11 through the air.

The pregame show will start at about 6:40 with an interview with Coach Stein, followed by remarks from Senior Aiden Hancock as the kickoff with be at 7 p.m.
