Chadron State opened five weeks of spring football practices with an afternoon session Monday at Don Beebe Stadium up against the sunshine-splashed hills south of campus with temperatures around 60 degrees. It was a perfect setting for the Eagles to get started and the intensity and sense of urgency were high as the team begins preparing for the fall 2024 season.
