Hemingford man arrested after threatening RWMC staff

The Scottsbluff Police Department responded to a request by Regional West Medical Center staff at approximately 11:15 a.m. Thursday, October 15.  

The request was to assist with a patient whom was being disruptive and threatening to staff.

Officers arrived and contacted the male.  As an investigation ensued the male became combative and assaulted several officers.

 The male was arrested and transported to the Scotts Bluff County Jail.  

The male was identified as Kade Patrick Weber, 23, of Hemingford.

Webber was charged with:

-1 count Resisting Arrest

-1 count Trespassing

-3 counts felonious assault on police officer

-1 count Disorderly Conduct

Several officers were treated for minor injuries at the hospital and this matter remains under investigation.  

The Gering Police Department and RWMC Security Staff assisted the Scottsbluff Police Department.
