Chadron took an 8-0 lead before Alliance came to bat but it was the Spartans who were on top of a wild game in the end.

Following the big first frame the Nationals went ahead 12-3 after two innings, but it was far from over as both teams wore out home plate.

Alliance roared back in the third with six runs to make it 12-9, and trailed 14-13 going into the bottom of the final frame before Carver Hauptman singled home two runs to win it in walk-off fashion for Alliance 15-14.

The Spartans had 11 hits and 10 walks to keep the base paths full.  Mario Garza, Drew Romick and Hauptman each had two hits and two RBIs.

Chadron notched 14 hits and drew six walks led by a big night from Garrett Reece who was 3/3 with five RBIs and four runs scored.  Seth Gaswick was 2/3 with four RBIs.

The Alliance JRs are 7-4.

Alliance SRs 11, Chadron 1

Kirk Sanders and Brantz Halouska combined on the mound for the win allowing only two hits and walking two.

Alliance improves to 9-5 this summer.

Gering SRs 9, Bridgeport 1
