2025 Platte Valley Companies Monument Marathon

Event Information:
- Marathon weekend begins with the Health Expo, on Friday, September 26, from noon to 8 p.m. at the Gering Civic Center, where runners will pick up their race packets. The community is invited to attend and meet runners, visit expo booths, and eat at the 5 p.m. pasta feed. Early on Saturday, all runners park at Five Rocks Amphitheater. Full marathon runners arrive around 6 a.m. and are bused to the Wildcat Hills Nature Center where their race begins. The half marathon, relay, and 5K runners arrive around 7 a.m. Five Rocks Road closes from 7:25 - 8 a.m., so ALL runners must be in the parking area before 7:25 a.m. The half marathon, relay, and 5K races begin at Robidoux RV Park beside Five Rocks Amphitheater. All race distances share a finish line at Five Rocks Amphitheater. Runners cross the finish line between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Five Rocks Amphitheater is open to the public to view the race finish throughout the day and the award ceremony at noon.

Spectator Information:
- The community is invited to cheer for runners along public areas of the course and as they cross the finish line between 8:00 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Five Rocks Amphitheater. Awards for all distances and age categories begin at noon; food vendors will be available throughout the morning and lunch.
