Janell Ann Grant, born on November 2, 1956, in Columbus, Nebraska, passed away on September 27, 2024, at Swedish Medical Center in Denver, Colorado, surrounded by her family. A devoted Nurse Practitioner, Janell dedicated almost 50 years to providing exceptional care to the communities she served, earning the title of Medical Provider of Choice.

Janell was a nurturing soul who always put others before herself. She was known for her kindness, often willing to give the clothes off her back to help anyone in need. When she wasn’t busy helping others through her career, she made sure to allow time to follow her children and grandchildren to their various events and sporting activities. Her favorite hobbies included reading, crocheting, and camping, activities she often shared with her loved ones.

Janell is survived by her beloved husband, Lonnie Grant, and her children: Travis (Jessica), Cory, Sally (Dusty), Jarid, Leisa, and Andrea. She was also a proud grandmother to Isaiah, Jacob, Catherine, Brianna, Hadley, Zuri, Braxton, Rilla, and Madeline. Janell is preceded in death with her parents, Ardett and Delilah, her brother Ray and her granddaughter Danika.

Janell's legacy of compassion and dedication will live on through the countless lives she touched throughout her remarkable career and her loving family. She will be deeply missed.

Memorial services will be Friday, October 11, 2024 at 10:00am at St. John’s United Lutheran Church with Pastor Megan Morrow officiating.  Interment will be in the Nebraska Veterans Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
