SCOTTSBLUFF – The City of Scottsbluff in conjunction with Simon Contractors would like to advise the public that the Mill and Overlay project on 20th St. from Cleveland field east to 17th Avenue is underway.
Contractors will be working from Avenue I east lowering manholes in the project area approximately one week before the surface milling will begin. Manhole work will take place first as milling into one of the manholes can damage the milling machine.
Contractors will mill the entire length and then the paving of the street will begin. Intersections may be closed when the paving process begins. The mill and paving will go from curb to curb. The Scottsbluff Police Department and City of Scottsbluff ask that you plan ahead if you are on these streets as there will be some reduced parking and closures as we move along the route.
