The Box Butte County dispatch services have changed in Alliance.
"Effective March 8, 2023 the Box Butte County Dispatch Center has consolidated its services with the Gering/Scottsbluff communication center," Box Butte County Sheriff Tammy Mowry said. "The county was not able to negotiate a reasonable amount of cost with the City of Alliance to provide the same service. There will not be any disruption in services due to this change. The Box Butte County Sheriff's Office will continue to provide the services that it always has in the past."
